Calculation methodology (briefly)
The volume of rendered communication and information services in current prices is defined as the sum of income of enterprises (in the amount of revenue from their provision) rendering services in this area. The classification of communication and information services is carried out in accordance with the Statistical Classifier of Products (goods, works, services) by type of economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter - SCP) in section J “Services in the field of information and communication”. Communication and information services include: publishing services (SCP section code 58); services for the production of motion pictures, videos and television programs, services for sound recording and publishing of musical works (SCP section code 59); services for programming and television and radio broadcasting (SCP section code 60); telecommunication services (SCP section code 61); computer programming, consulting and other related services (SCP section code 62); services in the field of information (SCP section code 63). Monitoring of the volume of provided market communication and information services is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 11, 2021 No. PD-5113 "On measures to accelerate the development of the service sector" in accordance with the approved target parameters for the development of the service sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
