Calculation methodology (briefly)
Household expenditures - consist of consumer and non-consumer expenditures. In turn, household consumer expenditures include expenditures on the purchase of consumer goods and services (i.e. purchases of food, meals out, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, non-food goods and paid services). It is calculated by dividing the volume of expenditures on non-food goods by the volume of total expenditures and multiplying by 100.
