Calculation methodology (briefly)
Household consumer expenditure includes expenditure on the purchase of consumer goods and services (i.e. purchases of food, meals out, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, non-food products and paid services). The volume of expenditure on non-food products is calculated by dividing it by the volume of consumer expenditure and multiplying it by 100.
