Calculation methodology (briefly)
Gross operating surplus reflects that portion of value added that is retained by producers after deducting expenses related to compensation of employees and net taxes on production and imports. Gross mixed income consists of non-wage expenditures of privately owned households, unincorporated enterprises, and includes an element of compensation for labor that cannot be separated from the income of the entrepreneur or owner.
