Calculation methodology (briefly)

The Tourism Satellite Account was developed based on the concepts of the System of National Accounts 2008 and international standards such as the International Recommendations for Tourism Statistics 2008 and Tourism Satellite Accounts: Recommended Methodological Framework 2008. The Tourism Satellite Account is an internationally agreed system of classifications, definitions, tables and aggregates developed to provide additional analysis of specific data in the field of tourism using appropriate indicators.
