In accordance with Resolution No. 629 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 7 October 2025, "On Measures for Conducting the Population and Agricultural Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan," the final results of the Population and Agricultural Census shall be prepared by 1 July 2027. Following the official publication of the final census results, data on the permanent population compiled on the basis of the census results will be disseminated in accordance with the established procedure. In this regard, the demographic indicators as of 1 July 2026 have been compiled based on the integrated data of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Based on the data on regional land area provided by the Cadastre Agency under the National Committee for the Sustainable Development of Urbanization and the Housing Market of the Republic of Uzbekistan, population density indicators have been recalculated.
