Data collection relies on various sources, including price recording via tablet devices, information from tax authorities, and administrative data. Average prices used in the calculations are computed as geometric means. Aggregation is performed using a modified Laspeyres formula based on expenditure weights obtained from household consumption expenditure surveys conducted for the base year. The aggregated indices are calculated using the chain-linking method through long-term price indices referenced to a common base period.
