Calculation methodology
Child mortality rate under 5 years (total) is the sum of the rates of children who died between the ages of 0 and 5 at each age. Each age indicator is calculated similarly to the infant mortality rate. Rates for 1, 2, 3, 4 young people are also calculated in this order and the sum of 5 rates is taken into account.
