Calculation methodology
Number of able-bodied population at working age – it is equal to the sum of workers under and over the working age. According to the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it consists of men from 16 to 60 years old and women from 16 to 55 years old (children and adolescents under 16 years old are classified as younger than working age, men over 60 years old and women over 55 years old are classified as older than working age).
