Calculation methodology
Infant mortality rate (total) per 1000 live births (under-1 mortality) is the number of children under 1 year of age born in the current year and who died in the same year, divided by the number of births in the current year, and the number of children under 1 year of age born in the previous year and who died in the current year, divided by the number of births in the previous year, the results obtained are summed up and calculated by multiplying by 1000.
