Calculation methodology (briefly)
The Gini coefficient (G) characterizes the degree of deviation of the actual distribution of income of individuals or households from absolute equality (the degree of inequality in the distribution of income of the population). The Gini coefficient (G) is measured in the range from 0 (perfect equality) to 1 (perfect inequality), i.e. the closer the index to 1, the higher the polarization of income in society.
