Calculation methodology (briefly)
According to the international methodology of the “System of National Accounts – 2008”, the deflator index represents the average change in prices in the economy and is calculated as the ratio of the volume of nominal value added to the volume of real value added. Gross value added is determined by the difference between the value of goods and services produced (production) and the value of goods and services completely consumed in the production process (intermediate consumption).
