Calculation methodology (briefly)
One of the most important indicators of inflation, which measures the overall change in the cost of a fixed set of goods and services purchased by the average consumer, i.e. characterizes the change in the total amount of consumer expenditures of the population in a certain period of time with a constant amount of goods and services consumed. The consumer price index averages the movement of prices for the entire variety of goods and services throughout the country.
